Transaction Status

The answer to "I timed out — did the money move?". Requires inbound:read.

Returns the same data block as Credit, so one parser handles both.

What each answer means for you

COMPLETEDThe money moved. Settle with your customer
REJECTED / FAILEDNothing moved. Refund your customer, or fix and resend
REVERSEDIt moved, then was returned
PROCESSINGStill settling. Poll again shortly
404 REFERENCE_NOT_FOUNDWe never received it. Safe to send the credit with that same reference
Warning

Do not treat a 404 as failure and mint a new reference for a later retry. Reuse the original one — that is what keeps the operation single-credit if the first attempt turns out to have landed after all.
